Deanna Rose has a 7 piece set of quartz crystal singing bowls and each one resonates with a chakra. She does home visits, outdoor sessions, land blessings, schools, nursing homes, ceremonies festivals. During the session She plays all 7 bowls individually and sometimes together. I can also add a crystal treatment and some reiki if desired. Every session is adaptable for each person, couple or group (group rates are different). Some people really enjoy laying on the massage table the full time. Some enjoy stretching and doing movement. Some people want a guided meditation and to sing and tone together. I am extremely open and excited to adapt it for whatever your needs are so that you feel most comfortable.
So What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing therapy uses aspects of music to improve your physical and emotional health and well-being. There are different types of sound therapy, including vibrational sound therapy, which uses special sounds that produce vibrations thought to improve brain waves. Most ancient cultures used the incredible power of sound to heal.In the ancient schools and traditions of Greece, India, Egypt, Tibet, and Australia and more using sound and music for healing was a highly developed pure science. There’s some research to support its benefits in chakra balancing, increasing mental and emotional clarity, promoting happiness, reducing anxiety, reducing stress, improving sleep, reducing pain and symptoms in people with cancer and those recovering from surgery.
Sound healing is beneficial in restoring the body’s natural frequency and acts as a starting point to address many different ailments.
There are many things we might come in contact with in our daily lives that negatively affect our natural frequency. Such factors may be subtle, and we may not even recognise that they make us feel unsettled or uneasy. They could even be making us physically sick!
The basis of sound healing is the understanding that all forms of matter, right down to our cells, thoughts, and emotions, vibrate at different frequencies. Factors such as stress, sickness or depression cause cells and organs within our body to vibrate at suboptimal frequencies. Since sounds come at different frequencies and we too emit our own waves, healing with sound happens by matching frequencies of different sounds to those that are necessary and conducive to healing and relaxation.
Japanese Dr Masaru Emoto’s experiments on water memory found that human vibrational energy, thoughts, words, ideas, and music affect the molecular structure of water and can dramatically shape the way water crystallises. Given that our bodies are 65% water, we can expect musical frequencies to alter our vibrational state.
